Ian Rogers, CEO of Beats Music, wrote a blog post describing the first 100 days since their launch. He gives stats on engagement, conversion, acquisitions, consumption, user trends… you get the picture. He thanks subscribers, partners, those who have tried Beats, and his staff. Rogers writes that people have “loved” 17.5 million tracks, genres and albums collectively. That works out to 7,292 every hour for 100 days – it appears people have been busy actively engaging with Beats Music… He goes on to say:
We’re just getting started but already one thing is becoming clear–numbers don’t lie: a curated, personalized music service that drives discovery and connects listeners directly to artists IS worth paying for.
