Beats Music has two exclusives happening:
1 – For a World Cup Beats ad, Jay Z is featured with a remix of the song Jungle by X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons. The original version of ‘Jungle’ was used on a Beats World Cup short film titled “The Game Before The Game.” The “Jungle” remix premiere is only available on Beats Music.
2 – Another Beats Music exclusive preview is Magic!’s debut album “Don’t Kill The Magic” from June 17 to June 24. Watch the promotional video here.
Releasing songs and albums exclusively on Beats Music is another strategy to attract listeners, gain subscribers, and use artist/fan partnerships to get people talking about Beats Music. Considering the deep ties Beats Music has with Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre, will.i.am and now Apple, short exclusives might be a strong strategy for the short term.
