According to Bloomberg, Beats Music signed-up about 1,000 paying subscribers a day in its first month. This is for the $9.99/month plan, not the AT&T family plan offer of $14.99/month. The source requested anonymity because the private information was given out during an investor meeting in February.
The connections with AT&T gave Beats Music 750,000 potential subscribers. The 90-day free AT&T trials will start to expire in May. We’ll be watching how many customers are retained by the family plan.
