Beats Music has raised about $60 million in another round of financing. As Bloomberg reported, the exact dollar amount is not specified or who the investors are, but it is most likely a combination of individuals and investment groups for this new cash intake. They initially raised $60 million about a year ago to build and launch the music subscription service (then codenamed Daisy).
Expect Beats Music to use the money to extend their reach with larger advertising and co-branding campaigns (remember the Super Bowl and AT&T advertising spots). Case-in-point, Corvette Stingray and the Beats Music app integration already in motion at the SXSW conference.
